Myths of the Feminine

It is time to demystify the feminine experience. There is a one-dimensionality that gets applied to this gender, and it has kept us unsafe for too long.

Read the following categories:

The Submissive
The Free Spirit
The Prude
The Foreign Temptress
The Shallow
The Cold Housewife
The Fragile
The Slut

If you are being honest with yourself, to some degree, these categories influence how you perceive all women on Earth. If you are a woman, your mind is far more conflicted, but not immune.

Now realize all those categories are about a woman's approach to sex.

So how do one-dimensional, man-made stories continue to thrive? Because our minds tell us anyone who defies these rules is an "exception."

The intuited messages of this week, hope to eradicate hollow generalizations of the feminine kind. To do this we will explore what lies beneath and find actual commonalities that can help us stop shallow generalities.

I ask that you first watch, full screen, each category (One Channeled Video x 8 Intuited Song Edits) to bring these ideas to the forefront of your mind. To remember how "real" they feel.

Then, only then, can we fucking annihilate them.

1. THE SUBMISSIVE

2. THE FREE SPIRIT

3. THE PRUDE

4. THE FOREIGN TEMPTRESS

5. THE SHALLOW

6. THE COLD HOUSEWIFE

7. THE FRAGILE

8. THE SLUT

When understanding the feminine kind, realize our societal worth has been reduced to the following:

Innocence (Apple)
Energy (Coffee)
Fitness (Tennis Ball)
Mystery (Partial Moon)
Neediness (Dimly Lit)
Sexual Willingness (Red Circle)

These categories, of course, were not created by women, and have very real consequences to our livelihood (distorted body).

We then must contend with the unspoken rules that we can sense but not touch. A knowing that we are seen as both manipulative, and sexually exciting (reptilian vaginal lips, glittery insides)

Next is our physical form. We enter a room and know every curve has been assessed (bumpy female form walkway). This then informs how we are treated, from having a voice to being harassed.

Every woman has to reconcile this in their own way. Do we choose to perfect ourselves, hide ourselves, do both to be extra safe, be heroic and embrace our unique bodies (sparkle vagina, hidden in dirt, waters)?
"Heroic" applies due to the severe body shaming that one is then vulnerable to.

Sadly, no matter a woman's course of action, body shaming is inescapable. Oh but how we try.

Of course, we also have the "usual" mental negativity that circulates from being a human (black birds, triangle). This in equal proportion to the focus on physicality and womanhood (black birds in pink, triangle).

Now enters the land of fertility (sparkling vagina, uterus). Often seen as our most precious commodity, (sparkling) and as is the theme with womanhood, it is public domain (sparkles at different angles).

It is very easy to disembody the woman, from the life giving force within (computerized, purple, crystal baby)Even women forget the complexity of this force, and how it permeates the body and mind (volcanic activity, diffuse, around body)

Fertility alone means menstruation, hormonal imbalance, cramps, cysts, bloating, migraines, depression, anxiety, "an internal countdown"... Never mind the pressure from family and friends.

Sex while fertile, is absolute hyper vigilance (baby in eye) that includes: birth control, fertility treatments, miscarriage, gynecologist visits, abortion, missed periods... And watching all this be LEGISLATED BY MEN.

Then there is pregnancy (baby in the flower, sparkle). I couldn't write a list if I tried. Pregnancy, just pregnancy, is a complete disruption to the mind, body and soul.

Having a child. Having an abortion. Having a miscarriage.

Life given, life taken away. Women have to live with that.

Those women unable to give birth have to live with that.

What you've read is painfully abbreviated, but I know the enormity of this is coming across.

Now pause and reflect on how women are impregnated. How often it happens through rape, including spousal rape, a drunken encounter, a broken condom, a missed pill, an abusive boyfriend, through sexual abuse, at a young age...
(bloody mess)

The world of sex and fertility is an internal battle ground.

When we do finally come up for air, the strangest thing happens. We enter a world where all signs of fertility such as big breasts, stomachs and hips have been rejected by the media. Women appear pre-pubescent and emaciated (distorted small spot on crystal).

We enter stores that don't carry average female sizes. We see ads that provide "fixes" for every body part (multi-colored building with female statues). We actually see movements called "normalize normal bodies"(multi-colored body stretching)

We are at war within and without.

And we are told to find peace with all of it, because we wouldn't want to be undesirable (meditative woman, shaking background, crystal).

We are told to smile.
(red, dirty face becomes sparkling face)

Cosmos Peractus is written on the delicate undergarment. Try and process living in a world where you are criticized down to your underwear.

(These intuited messages best apply to cisgender females, but using "feminine kind" was in recognition of its larger relevance. I do know channeled messages will come on behalf of LGBTQIA and I deeply look forward to it.)
